In those days the hottest item was the Lor Mee to be eaten with lots of chilli. I hear the standard is now below par as it is operated by a different person. If you like duck meat, there is a very good Mee Sua with duck drumstick soup at a coffee shop behind the Police HQ building. It usually sells out by 9.00am. There should be some good prawn mee stalls in the Sg. Korok area and at the abandoned cinema called Tai Kuan. Happy hunting and hope you will blog on your new findings.
