Old Town Kopitiam has to be one of Malaysia’s most successful food franchises. There’s one nearly everywhere and when they came up with the My Breakfast sets, I had to give it a shot!

When I saw it in the newspapers I was a bit sceptical. RM3.90 for coffee, toast and eggs? So cheap? But they aren’t kidding!
I had that set and yes, it is RM3.90! You get:-
1) Traditional Black Coffee

2) 1 set of toast bread with butter and kaya

3) 2 half-boiled eggs

It was awesome!
The other RM3.90 set had mee siam with coffee.

The Mee Siam was quite tasty and sufficiently spicy. The sambal that comes with it is mm…. lovely! Its spicy and has lots of fried ikan bilis in it. I love it! But if you aren’t into spicy food then it can be a bit too spicy.
The nice thing about having breakfast at Old Town Kopitiam is that I was so full I didn’t need lunch! Hehe… How about that for cheap eh?
Breakfast is served up to 11am I believe. Worth a try!
