I’d been looking at the House of Kebab stall at Food Garden the few times I’d been there but had never tried. I’d been curious though because the owners are 2 Iranians who are quite helpful if you aren’t sure what you want to have.

Its the 4th stall on the left as you enter Food Garden @ The Gardens. I tried it recently and was quite impressed.

I had the lamb kebab (RM15.90 + 5% tax) for 2 lamb kebabs and rice, a slice of watermelon and a dhall sort of gravy you can have with your rice. It looked quite unappetizing – presentation wasn’t all that great. However, the kebabs were pretty good. I don’t usually eat lamb but they somehow got the lamb to not taste so gamey and the taste of spices was not overpowering.
It was juicy and cooked just right. Nice with the rice which had a slight salty taste. I did not know what to expect but I did not expect it to taste pretty good!
The other stall I usually eat from is the Sam Sam Korean Food stall just next to the House of Kebabs.

The Bibimbap is RM12.90 + 5% tax (I think) and you have a choice of chicken or beef. I always take beef. Its served in a hot stone bowl with soup, some bits of kimchi and potato and a dessert. I find the portion about right for me (approximately 1 bowl of rice) but bigger eaters may find it slightly lacking.
Other than these 2 stalls I don’t find anything else interesting to eat at Food Garden.
Food Garden is a food court on the 3rd Floor of The Gardens near Sushi Zanmai/Borders.

Those kebabs look vulgarly delicious, and no, I’m not gay.
I had the bibimbap at the same stall (think it’s the same stall you’re talking about) when I was back in KL during CNY and I liked it. The owners are Korean.
@Cheesey: Yep same stall. Little Korean lady who keeps smiling
@Gallivanter: LOL!!! Yeah now that you mention it…
