Lychee Smoothie

Ever since I discovered this super easy way of making a frozen lychee smoothie at home, there’s hardy anymore need to order it at restaurants PLUS its cheap and I can make it as alcoholic (or not) as I like! Whee!

Here’s how I make my frozen lychee smoothie.

You need:

  • half a can of lychee in syrup or fruit juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Vodka (optional)
  • A blender :P

How to:

  1. Place the drained lychees in the blender together with the ice cubes. Reserve one lychee per glass for garnish.
  2. Add some of the syrup or fruit juice to taste. Vodka is optional.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour into glasses, garnish with a lychee and serve immediately.

Without alcohol it is refreshing and delicious on the tastebuds, especially after an oily meal. With alcohol, it is sweet and has zing.

Either way, its absolutely delicious and so easy to make! Enjoy!

Ooh, that sounds lovely. I may have to do this with the extra can of lychees sitting in my cupboard.

I can’t believe it’s really that easy. I’m going to have to run out and buy some canned lichees to try.
