Teriyaki Scallop on Rice at Isetan Bangkok

I was at Isetan Central World at Bangkok just before I left for the airport and decided to get a bite of lunch. I did not quite fancy having to buy airline food on Air Asia, so I wandered into Isetan’s supermarket and food department on the top floor of the store.

I’m so happy I did! Look at what THB220 (Approx RM22) got me – A large bowl of teriyaki scallops on rice!

Teriyaki Scallops on rice

There were 9 large fresh scallops panfried in teriyaki sauce and served over hot sticky Japanese rice, and served with a glass of cold green tea. It was absolutely delicious!

The scallops were cooked just right so they were soft and tender and sweet. The teriyaki sauce was at a minimal so it was not overly salty and sweet. I enjoyed it so much, I’m going to attempt it at home soon!
