Bev , there is something wrong with that tropicana outlet it ripping you off. As i have had oyster mee sua at 1U , TIMES SQUARE and midvalley all comes with 3 oyster no matter whether you are having it there or take away. The boss must be thinking customers wont notice.

As a smart consumer i think you better complain to their HQ. their contacts its on their websites www.shihlinsnacks.com.tw

Not sure if anyone noticed, but the outlet at Tropicana City Mall has reduced it's portion of the mee sua and is only giving 1 oyster when you're taking away. The previous take away that I've ordered (only a few months back) the mee sua was actually filling 3 quarter of the bowl with 2 oysters but now it's only half & 1 oyster. Don't think will be going to that stall again. =(

Hm...I tried the XXL fried chicken and Handmade Oyster Mee Sua but for me both were not delicious. Cant imagine how much the XXL fried chicken had been fed with growth hormone to make it that big, lots of msg...it is not healthy

@Jason Tan: Perhaps the first time I ate the Ricebox set they were more generous because I definitely got one piece of XXL chicken. But now they must have wised up :P

The chicken that comes with the Ricebox set is not the same as that of the XXL Chicken. The chicken serve in the the Ricebox set is actually about half the size of an XXL Chicken. No XXL Chicken is used for Ricebox set. The portions and servings in all the outlets are the same as it is a franchised business. The "Chicken Spilling Off" effect is a matter of how it is cut and placed on top of the rice.

Tried Uncle Bob's fried chicken. It's different. You should compare it side by side. The crust is thinner & the meat is dry (no juicy bites).
