Oh for the love of Scotch Eggs!
Kimberlycun is a mindreader I swear! I wrote about pork pies in my last post and she left a comment saying that she loved scotch eggs too. And what d’ya know? I was just about to post about scotch eggs today!
Scotch eggs are another uniquely British invention. Essentially, spiced minced meat is wrapped around a hard-boiled egg and then coated with breadcrumbs and fried. It is very unhealthy but sinfully delicious!
My favourite scotch eggs come from Marks & Spencer, surprise surprise! I like the mini scotch eggs the best because they are easy to go down and you don’t get so sick of them so quickly.

The mini scotch eggs are spiced sausage meat wrapped around minced hardboiled egg about the size of a ping pong ball, and coated with breadcrumbs and fried. They can be eated hot or cold and I am drooling at the thought of them!

Unfortunately, Marks & Spencer in Kuala Lumpur does not carry fresh food (BOO!) so these came all the way from London. Again, don’t tell me what goes into these delicious morsels. All I know is that they are a must have from London!
