With Christmas coming round the corner, and people buying gifts left and right, I’ve found that some of the best gifts to give, especially to new friends or as a gift for a hostess, are Christmas Cookies.
I usually buy some Gourmet Cookies that comes in pretty packaging or that come in pretty festive tins, because cookies are usually quite universally appreciated especially if there are families with kids. If they are well made, they might even keep for a while.
There was a year when my sis and I made some chocolate chip cookies for friends. Those were just as well received as the All Natural Cookies I deigned to purchase the next time. I’ve found that people always appreciate that home made gesture because it looks like you made an effort and took all the trouble for them. Plus, baking cookies gives your house that lovely Christmas atmosphere and reminds you all too clearly that Christmas is just right around the corner!
