I met ParisB for lunch recently and for a healthier change, we decided to give Country Farm Organics (CFO) in Bangsar Village a try. CFO is located in the old Bangsar Village and sell lots of organic food but they have a cafe at the side of their retail shop that serves the most delicious organic food. CFO’s tagline “Bring Home Organics For Less” tries to dispel the idea that organic food is expensive and this was certainly evident in their cafe prices.

They have a nice extensive menu that range from affordable Asian to Western dishes and some really interesting drinks like a Pink (pink dragonfruit) Pitera smoothie! Perfect for a Pink Elle! Hehe…Each dish on the menu has a little sign next to it telling the customer how much of it is organic and it ranges from 80% to around 99%.
We ordered the Pink Pitera smoothie to share which is a blend of organic pink dragonfruit with organic soy yogurt. It came in a glass looking radioactive pink with little bits of black dragonfruit seeds suspended in the thick mixture. It wasn’t too bad but we both didn’t like the overpowering taste of soy in the smoothie. Beware though, it’s really filling!
I was a bit full from a heavy breakfast so I opted for their 8-booster Rojak which is touted to be the healthiest rojak in town! It came prettily decorated with strips of seaweed and black sesame and was a healthy mixture of red apples, green apples, papaya (which was a little hard), starfruit and yam bean (pangkwang). It comes with a little side saucer of rojak sauce made out of blackstrap molasses which tasted surprisingly a lot like rojak sauce!
Sis decided to try the Spaghetti Aglio Olio which came with a healthy serving of greens, tomatoes and free range minced chicken. It was surprisingly tasty and not as oily as some cafes tend to do it. Yummy!
I give Country Farm Organics two thumbs up! I used to be a little skeptical of the taste and price of organic food but this bright and breezy cafe completely changed my perspective and showed me what a delicious and healthy change this is from normal outside food. Each dish comes with a healthy dose of veggies and even their fruits used for the rojak were freshly cut and really sweet!
So if you’re looking for something healthy yet affordable for dinner, try Country Farm Organics, you may find yourself coming back for more!

I always buy CFO products (vegetables, oats) but I didn’t know they had a restaurant for it!
Yeah! i try the food in the restaurant before. I expect the organic food should be plain but i’m absolutely wrong about it. It is delicious. I still can feel the sweet taste of the organic veggie in my mouth even i had it 2-3 week ago. I having my Salad and Tom Yum Spaghetti there.
