New Coca-cola Zero

I saw a small rack of these when I was last in Jusco. The black bottles intrigued me, so I picked one up to look at it.

Its Coke Zero by Coca Cola.

Zero? Zero what? Sis said it must be zero sugar but the bottle came from Korea, and I did not see any local version, so I’m not quite sure what the Zero in the name means. The only 0 that I saw in the list of ingredients related to Protein. :P

It comes in bottles of 600ml for RM6.90 and cans of maybe 330ml for RM4.50 each.

OUCH! That’s expensive! I’m thinking it might be because its imported from Korea. I wonder when we’ll have it at a more affordable price though. I wasn’t too keen to fork out that amount of money to try - if you are and have done do, do let me know what it tastes like?

Is this Coca-cola’s answer to Pepsi Max? Incidentally, I hate Pepsi Max. If I’m going to overload on sugar and caffeine, I might as well get the real thing.

PB says: Lets just wait for our local version then.

Yep, that’s the zero sugar thingy. They have ads for it on UK tv with Wayne Rooney guzzling a bottle, but I’ve never seen it in Msia. I have no idea what it tastes like though, might see if I wanna cough up the £1 or so for a bottle just for a taste.

PB says: Aiyoyo! Try it man!

My friend and I were curious so we bought 1 can and shared…. it was the worst tasting Cola…. I think I enjoy Pepsi Max more than that…. wasted my money ahhaahh…. but then I was curious….
